these are sturdy even when fully extended. I bought a cheap curtain rod and replaced the flimsy hooks it came with the package with these and they look awesome!

Wanted to hang some curtains on our (covered) balcony, but didn't want to spend the money to buy actual curtain rods as ones the length I needed are very expensive. Bought a couple of these brackets and some PVC pipe from the hardware store and spent a fraction of the price actual curtain rods would have cost.

The brackets were a great price and arrived when expected. The only issue is that one of them you could not unscrew the extension screw. It was attached so tight. One set of curtains was up and couldn’t get the other one. My husband tried so much that he thought he had stripped the screw. One last try he put the bracket in a vise and tried moving the entire metal piece and this finally loosened it enough to unscrew.

Buying this product was a waste of money. Two of the four hooks came stripped and are unusable. Tried using WD40 and screw oil to dislodge and replace the screw but neith attempt worked. Took the two hooks to Lowe’s and Home Depot and nobody was able to help.

only problem was they were further from he wall than I had hoped. I really didn't pay attention to that when I ordered them. but they are very nice and very sturdy nonetheless.
